Andrew PetersJan 15, 2026

The dunk of the year may belong to Orlando Magic's Anthony Black.

During the NBA's Berlin Games between the Magic and Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, Black dunked on not one, but four defenders on a fast break.

The early opinion from the NBA world is that Black just had the dunk of the year.

Throughout the course of NBA history, we've seen players dunk on multiple defenders at once, like Kobe Bryant's iconic dunk against the Brooklyn Nets and countless slams from LeBron James, but four defenders at the same time might be a first.

Black, who is in his third season, is having a strong year and perhaps even making a case to be named Most Improved Player. The former No. 6 overall pick is putting up 15.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game, adding 1.3 steals to aid a strong Magic defense.

After a dunk that will be remembered for years to come, he'll look to ride the momentum into the rest of the season.

Orlando has had a decent start to the season, sitting in sixth place in the East at 23-18, but the Magic will look to improve further as the halfway point in the season approaches.
