Knicks Trade Rumors Update Guerschon Yabusele, Pacome Dadiet's Availabilities Ahead of NBA Deadline

Timothy RappJan 11, 2026

The New York Knicks may be willing to part with a pair of role players ahead of February's trade deadline as they look to build out the roster around their star core.

According to NBA reporter Marc Stein, "League sources say that Guerschon Yabusele and Pacôme Dadiet are available before the Feb. 5 trade deadline to potentially set the Knicks up to do some minor tweaking."

A bit of roster reshuffling around Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby may be in order.

The Knicks (24-14) have lost five of their last six games, falling four games behind the Detroit Pistons (28-10) for the top overall seed in the Eastern Conference. Since winning the NBA Cup, the Knicks are 6-7.

Yabusele, 30, signed a two-year, $12 million deal with the Knicks to fill out their big-man depth after having a solid 2024-25 season with the Philadelphia 76ers (11 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 38 percent from three). But he's been a borderline afterthought for the Knicks, averaging just 3.3 points in 9.9 minutes per game.

The 20-year-old Dadiet, meanwhile, has only appeared in 32 games across two seasons after being the No. 25 overall pick by the Knicks in the 2024 NBA draft, averaging 1.1 points per contest. He's clearly a developmental project, while the Knicks are in win-now mode, so a change of scenery could make sense.
