
Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns Reveals Meaning of Jordyn Woods' Engagement Ring in Video
New York Knicks star big man Karl-Anthony Towns opened up about his recent engagement to his longtime partner Jordyn Woods.
During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Towns discussed the meaning behind the stunning engagement ring that he surprised Woods with on Christmas Day.
"I wanted her to have a ring that shows that bond and relationship that we've built, and yeah, I want everyone to know she's mine," Towns told Meyers, per Skyler Caruso of People.
"Was she happy with the ring?" Meyers asked
"Yes," Towns responded. "She was excited. I think I did well… Her mom approves. I think that's the most important thing."
Towns revealed the details of how his proposal to Woods, saying, "It was a surprise. We'd been dating for five-and-a-half years up to that point."
The 30-year-old added that he's proud of how they they "found a way" to continue to build a lifelong bond throughout the "ebbs and flows" of a relationship.
"I think the most important thing… we always chose each other," Towns said of Woods. "You know, through the bad and the good, we always found ourselves choosing each other. I think that's what makes for a strong bond, a strong relationship."
