 LeBron James, Luka Doncic Thrill NBA Fans, Lakers Rally from 16 Down to Beat Grizzlie

LeBron James and Luka Doncic powered the Los Angeles Lakers to a 120-114 fourth-quarter comeback win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.

After trailing through three quarters and entering the fourth down 87-83, Los Angeles surged behind 26 points from James, who shot 8-of-14 from the field while adding seven assists and 10 rebounds. Doncic led all scorers with 36 points to go with nine rebounds and eight assists. Jake LaRavia finished with 26 points.

Memphis played without Ja Morant, who was sidelined with a calf injury, opening the door for extended minutes from Cam Spencer. Spencer struggled, scoring five points on 1-of-10 shooting, including 0-of-5 from 3-point range.

Jaren Jackson Jr. finished with 14 points and two rebounds, Cedric Coward added 16 points and nine rebounds, and Jaylen Wells led Memphis with 23 points.

Doncic and James thrilled fans as the duo rallied the Los Angeles Lakers past the Memphis Grizzlies.

With the win, the Los Angeles Lakers improved to 22-12, jumping the Houston Rockets for fourth place in the Western Conference. The Memphis Grizzlies fell to 15-20 and remain in the mix for top-10 positioning at No. 10.

Los Angeles trailed 65-54 at halftime. LaRavia led the Lakers with 12 first-half points, while James had eight and Doncic added 19 to pace the Lakers. Landale scored 13 points before the break, and Jackson Jr. added seven.

The Lakers still trailed entering the fourth quarter but surged late, holding Memphis to 27 points while scoring 37 to complete the comeback victory at home.

Los Angeles will begin a back-to-back on the road Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans before heading to face the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
