Draymond Green Reportedly Won't Face Further Discipline for Kerr Exchange on Video
After an apparent argument with head coach Steve Kerr that ended with him walking to the locker room, Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green reportedly won't face discipline.
"From what I understand, he also spoke to general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. there after the game, they cleared the air, Draymond wanted to talk to the media afterwards," ESPN's Ramona Shelburne said on NBA Today. "So I don't expect there to be any further discipline coming in this situation."

The exchange between Green and Kerr occurred in the third quarter during a timeout. Kerr was speaking to the team when he and Green shared some back and forth, and Green proceeded to get up and go to the locker room. He did not play the final 20 minutes, but the Warriors hung on to win 120-97 against the Orlando Magic.
Kerr said after the game that Green "had it out a little bit" and "made his decision to go back to the locker room to cool off." Kerr also said he wasn't going to put Green back in the game after the altercation.
"He wasn't going back in. No," Kerr said, per ESPN's Anthony Slater. "... He left. He went back to the locker room. We moved forward, and the guys played great."
Kerr added that the situation is "unfortunate," but the Warriors "need Draymond" on the court.
Green clarified that the argument was about basketball and felt it was best to separate himself from the situation.
"Tempers spilled over, and I thought it was best that I get out of there," he told reporters. "I don't think it was a situation where it was going to get better, so it was best to remove myself."
He also said he wants to "move forward" after the incident with his long-time head coach.
"We've been at this now for a long time," Green said. "Sometimes, you're with people for a long time, there's a level of comfort, and s--t happens. We move forward."
Green, now in his 14th season, is putting up 8.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game this year. Golden State has struggled early on in the 2025-26 campaign, sitting at 15-15 on the year.
