Steph Curry Rocks Jimmy Butler's 'Medusa' Shoes During Warriors' Win in Viral Photos
Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry appears to be continuing to enjoy his sneaker free agency after his partnership with Under Armour ended last month.
In Monday night's 120-97 win over the Orlando Magic, Curry was seen rocking his teammate Jimmy Butler's signature "Snake Spirit" Li-Ning JB 3 sneakers throughout the game:
Curry had a game-high 26 points as he led the Warriors to their second straight victory, improving their record to 15-15 this season.
Curry had been with Under Armour since 2013 before the two sides announced on Nov. 13 that they are parting ways. His standalone Curry Brand endeavor is expected to move forward independently, while his signature shoes will release as planned through Under Armour in 2026. He has the freedom to wear other brands over the next year while exploring new partnership deals.
Curry and the Warriors will try to extend their win streak to three straight games when they meet the Dallas Mavericks (11-19) on Christmas Day.
