Snoop Dogg Reportedly Will Announce Warriors vs. Clippers, Full Details, Date Revealed
With all this drama from the LAC, it's time to hear from Snoop D-O-double-G.
Well, as an announcer, that is.
According to The Athletic's Andrew Marchand, the hip-hop legend "will be a game analyst on Peacock's Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors game on Monday, Jan. 5."
Per that report, Snoop will watch the first half before joining the broadcast in the second half alongside Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller. He'll also partake in the pregame meetings.
The famous rapper has paired with NBC on other sporting ventures, namely as a host for the most recent Summer Olympics. He'll also be working with NBC during February's Milan-Cortina Winter Games.
"I am excited to be back with my main man Mike Tirico for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina," he said in a statement back in September. "The D-O-double-G will be on the scene, and I am looking forward to celebrating with the athletes and their families. The Olympics is the biggest stage in the world and, as everyone knows, I'm all about sports, bringing people together, and unifying while bringing the fun. I'll be bringing my puffy jackets, snow pants, goggles, skates (and will definitely be iced out)."
As for the NBA contest he'll be covering with Peacock, the Clippers have opened the season 7-21, beset by injuries and the drama surrounding Chris Paul's eventual dismissal from the team.
The Warriors have underachieved a bit as well, albeit to a much-lesser degree, starting the season 14-15.
