Anthony Edwards Reacts to Wolves HC's Ejection vs. Thunder, 'I'm F--king With That'
Anthony Edwards loved seeing his head coach get fired up during the Minnesota Timberwolves win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
Chris Finch was ejected just six minutes into the game after confronting officials for a no-call on Julius Randle.
"I'm f--king with that," Edwards said. "That's my dog. I wasn't happy that he got thrown out of the game. If I would've saw him going back at the ref a second time, I probably would have held him back, but I didn't see it that time. But year, I f--k with that."
Edwards also joked that he will pay Finch's fine and said the team "fed off Finchy's energy."
Finch's intensity in the first quarter clearly led to the Timberwolves playing some inspired basketball. Minnesota won 112-107 behind 26 points and 12 rebounds from Edwards as the Timberwolves handed the Thunder just their third loss of the season.
It was just the second career ejection for Finch, but he might need to make getting ejected a common occurrence as he looks to fire up his team.
