Quarterback

Matthew Stafford turns 38 in February, is only under contract through next season and has been dealing with back injuries recently. Meanwhile, the Rams are in a unique position where they own two first-round picks and don't have many significant roster needs/holes.
So, it'd be a smart move to get a succession plan for Stafford in place and have a rookie quarterback sit for a year, similar to what the Kansas City Chiefs did in 2017 with Alex Smith and Patrick Mahomes.
Fernando Mendoza, Indiana (No. 5)
Dante Moore, Oregon (No. 9)
Ty Simpson, Alabama (No. 30)
Right Tackle

Rob Havenstein has likely played his last down in Los Angeles, and maybe even in the NFL entirely. He'll be 34 years old in May and has dealt with several injuries over the last few years, including a stint on injured reserve this season. Expect the Rams to prioritize finding a right tackle this offseason.
Spencer Fano, Utah (No. 14)
Carter Smith, Indiana (No. 65)
Blake Miller, Clemson (No. 91)
Safety

Kamren Curl has played a significant role in the Rams' defense over the last couple of years, but Curl is set to hit free agency in the offseason. At the least, the front office will need to add some depth at the position.
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Toledo (No. 21)
Dillon Thieneman, Oregon (No. 29)
Keon Sabb, Alabama (No. 52)
Cornerback

Cornerback is one of the Rams' few weaknesses right now, and the team has several impending free agents in the offseason. Cobie Durant, Roger McCreary, Derion Kendrick and Ahkello Witherspoon are all set to have their contracts expire. So, corner should be a priority in L.A. during the draft.
Chandler Rivers, Duke (No. 34)
D'Angelo Ponds, Indiana (No. 43)
Davison Igbinosun, Ohio State (No. 51)
Deep Threat Wide Receiver

This is certainly an ancillary need for the Rams. But the offense's field stretcher, Tutu Atwell, is set to hit free agency this offseason. Also, Davante Adams is 33 years old, and Puka Nacua's contract expires after next season. So it couldn't hurt to add a young, developmental wide receiver for the long-term plan.
Chris Brazzell II, Tennessee (No. 38)
Deion Burks, Oklahoma (No. 45)
Chris Bell, Louisville (No. 74)
