Quarterback
2 of 5
Shedeur Sanders has done some nice things, but he's also put together some bad outings. The reality is that he was a fifth-round pick last season and his presence on the roster shouldn't deter the Browns from considering a prospect they consider to be better in this draft.
Fernando Mendoza, Indiana (No. 5)
Dante Moore, Oregon (No. 9)
Ty Simpson, Alabama (No. 30)
Wide Receiver
3 of 5
Life will be easier for whoever is playing quarterback if the Browns upgrade their receiver room. They have one of the most tepid pass attacks in the league and it isn't all on the quarterback. Finding a true separator who can force teams to gameplan for a top receiver would be huge.
Carnell Tate, Ohio State (No. 8)
Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State (No. 11)
Makai Lemon, USC (No. 19)
Offensive Tackle
4 of 5
Jedrick Wills didn't work out for the Browns so it might be time to consider another first-round tackle prospect. Cleveland has to fix the offense and finding a good tackle is a huge part of that. Jack Conklin is a potential cap casualty and Dawand Jones will be coming off a major knee and hamstring injury.
Spencer Fano, Utah (No. 14)
Kadyn Proctor, Alabama (No. 23)
Caleb Lomu, Utah (No. 50)
Cornerback
5 of 5
The Browns in-season trade for Tyson Campbell replaced Greg Newsome II, but Denzel Ward has struggled with injuries throughout his career. He'll be 29 next season and the Browns need cheaper alternatives at the position.
Mansoor Delane, LSU (No. 3)
Jermod McCoy, Tennessee (No. 7)
Avieon Terrell, Clemson (No. 20)
