
Cooper Flagg, Anthony Davis, Mavs Criticized By NBA Fans in Loss to SGA, Thunder
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder routed Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks 132-111 at home on Friday as OKC improved to 22-1 on the season with the best record in the league.
The Mavericks dropped to 8-16 with the loss behind 16 points from Flagg with two rebounds and two assists, and two points from Anthony Davis on 1-of-9 shooting as he added eight rebounds and six assists.
Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder to their dominant win amidst their hot start to the season with 33 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Fans criticized the Mavericks for not putting up a fight against the Thunder on Friday.
The Thunder held a 15-point lead over the Mavericks at halftime, led by 17 points from SGA. Flagg entered the break with 10 points for Dallas.
Starters for both teams sat with 7:44 remaining in the fourth quarter as Dallas trailed by 24 points and Oklahoma City cruised to a comfortable win, remaining a perfect 11-0 at home.
The Mavericks will look to carry their momentum into their next matchup against Houston in the second night of their back-to-back at home on Saturday.
