NBA Legend Kevin Garnett's Daughter Kapri Commits to Michigan Volleyball in Photo
NBA icon Kevin Garnett is celebrating his daughter Kapri Garnett's commitment to join Michigan volleyball as a member of the Class of 2026.
Garnett shared a photo of himself at his daughter's signing Friday night in a post captioned, "Go Blue!"
Garnett was ranked as of Nov. 12 as the No. 51 prospect from the state of California, according to the Wolverines.
Measuring in at 6-foot-4, she is an opposite hitter out of Campbell Hall High School in Calabasas, Califonia.
She competes for Sunshine Volleyball Club, where she received congratulations from her father after winning a second CIF Championship last May.
"Kapri comes from an incredibly athletic lineage and knows what it takes to compete at the highest level," Michigan volleyball head coach Erin Virtue said in a statement in November. "She has a genuine desire to be great.
"While she's still developing in the game of volleyball, her combination of physicality, height, and competitive mentality gives her enormous upside. We're excited to help her reach her potential at Michigan."
Michigan volleyball is currently playing in the NCAA Tournament, where the Wolverines just swept Xavier to advance to the second round.
Garnett will hope to participate in her own NCAA Tournament run when she joins the Wolverines next fall.
