LeBron James Shouts Out Jeremiah Smith After TD vs. Michigan on WR's 20th Birthday
Los Angeles Lakers star and Ohio State football fan LeBron James gave a shoutout to Buckeyes wide receiver Jeremiah Smith after the sophomore scored a 35-yard touchdown to put his team up 9-6 at arch-rival Michigan on Saturday.
Down 6-3 early in the second quarter, Ohio State faced a 4th-and-5 from the Michigan 35-yard line. Quarterback Julian Sayin stepped back to pass and found Smith, who scored his 12th touchdown of the season.

James also expressed his excitement about Brandon Inniss' touchdown that gave the Buckeyes a 17-9 lead late in the second quarter:
Smith was a 5-star recruit and the No. 1 overall prospect in the high school class of 2024. He's met the hype and then some during his two years at Ohio State.
He caught 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns last season en route to helping lead the Buckeyes win the national championship. He also rushed for 47 yards and a score.
This year, Smith entered the Michigan game with 69 receptions for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns in addition to 27 rushing yards and another TD.
Smith and the Buckeyes entered the Michigan with an 11-0 record and the No. 1 ranking in the nation. They will waltz into the College Football Playoff, but naturally, OSU wants to be the No. 1 seed and beat a rival it hasn't dispatched since 2019.
OSU got off to a great start and took a 17-9 lead into halftime. James was impressed and also gave a shoutout to left guard Luke Montgomery.
Montgomery played on James' AAU basketball team, North Coast Blue Chips, and was teammates with James' eldest son, Lakers guard Bronny James.
