AP College Basketball Poll 2025 Week 4 Rankings Released with Top Risers and Fallers
Purdue remains the No. 1 team in the Associated Press Top 25 poll as Feast Week kicks into gear in men's basketball.
With so many big games on tap, the next seven days promise to shake up the polls. For now, there wasn't a ton of movement from AP voters.
Beating Illinois 90-86 in Chicago propelled Alabama from 11th to eighth, while Michigan State climbed to No. 11th from 17 thanks to an 83-66 win over Kentucky.

In the modern game, it's difficult to beat a top-five opponent when you only knock down two three-pointers, but that's exactly what Arizona did in Storrs.
The Wildcats pushed around UConn inside to the tune of a 43-23 edge in rebounding and a plus-18 margin in paint scoring.
Koa Peat and Jaden Bradley combined for 37 points. Peat added 12 boards for his first double-double of the year, and teammate Motiejus Krivas (nine points and 14 rebounds) nearly joined him.
Arizona did well to hold Huskies star Alex Karaban (eight points on 2-of-5 shooting) in check, and UConn sorely missed leading scorer Tarris Reed Jr., who sat out with an ankle injury.
Kentucky couldn't dig itself out of the early hole it created for itself against Michigan State. The Spartans led by 17 points at halftime and were never in any serious danger in the second half.
Mouhamed Dioubate made it an 11-point game, 63-52, inside the final nine minutes, and that's as close as Kentucky got.
Kur Teng provided a big boost off the bench for head coach Tom Izzo, scoring 15 points in 18 minutes on the floor. Jeremy Fears Jr. was the offensive spark with 13 assists, and Jaxon Kohler dropped a game-high 20 points.
Kansas' encounter with Duke was supposed to pit two candidates for the No. 1 pick in 2026 against one another. Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman had the Jayhawks' Darryn Peterson atop his most recent mock draft and listed the Blue Devils' Cameron Boozer at No. 2.
A hamstring injury prevented Peterson from getting onto the court against Duke, though. Boozer at least managed to showcase his skills, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists as Duke beat Kansas 78-66.
The three-day Players Era Festival is the biggest headliner in Feast Week. Here's a snippet of what's on tap between Monday and Tuesday prior to the third-place game and championship final Wednesday:
- Kansas vs. Notre Dame
- St. John's vs. Iowa State
- Oregon vs. Auburn
- Alabama vs. Gonzaga
- Tennessee vs. Houston
- Michigan vs. Auburn
Elsewhere on the calendar, Duke vs. Arkansas and North Carolina vs. Michigan State on Thanksgiving Day will provide plenty of intrigue. UConn and Illinois will both be looking to respond to tough losses with a big win when they meet at Madison Square Garden on Black Friday.
