What is Domantas Sabonis' Timeline to Return to Kings amid Knee Injury?
Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis suffered a partially torn meniscus in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in three to four weeks, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Sabonis was previously ruled out of the Kings' 113-99 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday due to left knee soreness.
The three-time All-Star's extended absence is a tough blow to a Kings squad that was already struggling to open their 2025-26 season, as they currently sit at No. 14 in the Western Conference standings with a 3-12 record. They're also in the midst of a seven-game losing streak.

Sabonis averaged 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 51.0 percent from the field across his first 11 appearances this year.
Sacramento will need to focus on crashing the glass in order to make up for the 29-year-old's presence, as he ranked No. 7 among all players by pulling down 5.5 contested rebounds per game (via NBA.com).
Sabonis hasn't experienced many issues with availability as of late, as he's appeared in at least 70 games in each of the past three years. This included all 82 regular-season contests during his 2023-24 campaign.
Until Sabonis is able to return, Drew Eubanks will fill in for him as part of Sacramento's starting lineup.
