He's a 5-star prospect who's listed as the No. 3 small forward and No. 10 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.

247Sports director of scouting Adam Finkelstein highlighted Oladotun's potential to utilize his 6'10" frame.

"His game, like his frame, is still a work-in-progress, but loaded with long-term potential," Finkelstein wrote in his scouting report. "It's the vast scope of his versatile tools that is perhaps most compelling. He's already a threat to make plays as a handler, shoot over top of contesting defenders, or take smaller defenders into the mid-post. He tends to be a bit upright, but he has good hands and is very comfortable with his dribble."

Jamie Shaw, a national recruiting analyst at On3.com, was also impressed with Oladotun's shooting form in his scouting report.

"His footwork getting into the jump shot is clean, and Oladotun is confident getting into it off the bounce or the catch," Shaw wrote. "He is a threat as a pull-up jump shooter, getting a high release with good balance."

Oladotun was originally part of the 2027 recruiting class before reclassifying to 2026 on Aug. 7.

He visited Maryland on Sept. 13 and came away impressed with head coach Buzz Williams' staff.

"The visit was amazing," Oladotun told 247Sports' Dushawn London. "I'm from the hometown, so it's great to be in front of a family environment... Coach Buzz Williams is an amazing person, and all the assistant coaches. I met a new coach, Seth Allen, who's a great person. Their message was they're going to play through me, help elevate my skills, work on my defense, help take me to the next level, and sharpen every part of my game."

He showed promise in 2025 EYBL action, averaging 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds to go along with 1.2 steals per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field.

Oladotun will now join an impressive 2026 Maryland recruiting class that also includes combo guard Kaden House, power forward Adama Tambedou and small forward Austin Brown.
