Speed Makes History Breaking NBA Combine World Record in Training with Kevin Durant
Famed YouTuber IShowSpeed lived up to his name when he competed in a drill from the NBA draft combine.
Speed worked out with Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant in a video he posted Wednesday. He did a series of combine drills to compare himself to prospects coming into the league.
The 20-year-old ran the three-quarter sprint in 2.80 seconds, which would be an all-time record.

A lot of marquee players in a given draft class will skip most or all of the combine drills. If they're widely considered to be a top pick already, they stand to gain little by participating.
De'Aaron Fox and Ja Morant, for example, are two of the most dynamic guards in the NBA. Neither ran the three-quarter sprint prior to the draft. Maybe Speed's time wouldn't have held up against those two or others who refrained from taking part.
But plenty of great athletes have nonetheless put their speed on display for NBA talent evaluators. That IShowSpeed eclipsed them all is an impressive feat.
