Cameron, Cayden Boozer Praised As 'Incredibly Impactful' by Duke HC Jon Scheyer

Twin brothers Cameron and Cayden Boozer received high praise from Duke head coach Jon Scheyer for their performances in the Blue Devils' 95-54 win over Western Carolina on Saturday.

"I just love the fact they both are incredibly impactful, but they're also on their own journey of becoming really good players and really helping us," Scheyer said, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).

Cameron finished with a game-high 25 points during the victory, shooting 8-of-15 from the field and 4-of-9 from behind the arc. He also pulled down eight rebounds and dished out five assists.

As for Cayden, he came off the bench and racked up 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals on 4-of-8 shooting.

The win marked Duke's first victory of the regular season at Cameron Indoor Stadium, improving to 2-0 overall.

Expectations are high for both brothers as they begin their freshman seasons with the Blue Devils. Cameron was ranked as the No. 3 prospect in the 2025 recruiting class while Cayden was listed at No. 20, per 247Sports' composite rankings.

In the latest NBA mock draft from Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman, Cameron was projected to be off the board with the No. 2 overall pick. Cayden was selected with the No. 21 choice.

They'll look to build upon their impressive home debuts during an upcoming matchup with Army on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
