Draymond Green Says He Has 'No Beef' with Kevin Durant amid Warriors Dynasty Debate
Amid a recent back-and-forth between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant, Green clarified that there is no bad blood between he and his former Golden State Warriors teammate.
Green discussed he and Durant's relationship on his podcast.
"This ain't no beef. Ain't no beef between KD and Draymond, but we gonna talk our s--t because that's what we both do and we both love to do it," Green said (11:00 mark). "And we would do this sitting together each other and y'all don't see it, we'll do it and y'all do see it. Make no mistake about it, ain't no goddamn beef."
Durant, who played with the Warriors from 2017 to 2019, said on Netflix's "Starting 5" that he believes offense wins championships. Green responded by telling The Athletic's Sam Amick that Golden State's defense was responsible for its championships when Durant was on the squad.
Durant fired back at Green on social media:
It's fair to say that the Warriors' combination of success on offense and defense led to their championships, but Durant and Green clearly believe one had more to do with it than the other.
Nonetheless, Green made it clear he has no hard feelings towards Durant.
