Josh Giddey powered the Chicago Bulls to a 113–111 win over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday at home in a statement comeback victory.
Nikola Vucevic hit a 23-foot 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds left to take the game-winning lead after the Bulls trailed by as much as 24 points.
Embiid finished with 20 points and six rebounds, while Tyrese Maxey added 39, but their effort wasn't enough to lift Philadelphia past the surging Bulls.
Meanwhile, Giddey led the way for the Bulls with a triple-double of 29 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists, shooting an efficient 10-of-19 from the field and setting the tone on both ends.
Vucevic added 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds, providing a crucial spark to keep the offense rolling.
Fans reacted to the 76ers' loss after blowing their lead against the Bulls.
The 76ers fell to 5-2, while the Bulls improved to 6-1 on the season.
Philadelphia will face the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Wednesday.
