Jazz Reveal City Edition Uniforms with 'Iconic Mountain Landscape' in Video, Photos
The Utah Jazz are releasing a new twist on the team's former red rock City Edition jerseys.
The team's 2025-26 City Edition uniforms feature a gray-to-black version of the previous red gradient, according to a first look released Thursday by the team.
The Jazz described the uniforms as "celebrating our iconic mountain landscapes in a bold new way."
The uniform will be worn during the next two seasons, according to the Jazz.
The Jazz will debut the new look during a Tuesday, Nov. 11 home game against the Indiana Pacers. The uniforms will also be on sale at Delta Center starting Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. local time.
Utah players will additionally wear the new jerseys in four more home games this season, including contests against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 7, the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 8, the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 12 and the Toronto Raptors on March 23.
The Jazz initially unveiled the original red-to-orange gradient red rock-inspired City Edition jerseys ahead of the 2017-18 season.
Variations of the same gradient were worn by the team through the 2019-20 season, per Basketball Jersey Archive.
The Jazz then stayed away from the color-block gradient until returning to the pattern in grayscale this season.
The new City Edition uniforms also feature the same "UTAH" logo as the 2017 jerseys, as well as a waistband logo featuring a basketball pattern over the state's outline.
The 2025 uniforms feature a new addition in the form of wavy blue stripes down the side. These patterns represent the route from Salt Lake City to St. George, as well as from Salt Lake City to Moab, according to the team.
The Jazz have alternated wins and losses during a 2-2 start to the 2025-26 season, highlighted by a 51-ball from Lauri Markkanen during an overtime win against the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Utah will look to open NBA Cup group play with a win when Markkanen and the Jazz rematch with the Suns on Friday night in Phoenix.
