Cooper Flagg Praised by NBA Fans as Mavericks Beat Pacers Despite Anthony Davis Injury
Cooper Flagg recorded his second career double-double in the Dallas Mavericks' win over the depleted Indiana Pacers.
Flagg recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds. He was required to step up in the rebounding department because Anthony Davis left in the first half with an injury.
Flagg's performance was a welcome bounce-back from a two-point outing against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.
Flagg's double-double stands out more because he might have to carry more of the load in the paint if Davis is out for any time. Davis, who was probable for Wednesday's game with an Achilles issue, left in the first half.
Flagg will go after the third double-double of his early NBA career on Saturday, when the Mavericks take on the Detroit Pistons in Mexico City.
