Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco Reportedly Week-to-Week with Knee Injury After Commanders Game
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco is reportedly week-to-week with a right MCL sprain, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Pacheco suffered the injury while running with the ball late in the fourth quarter of his team's 28-7 home win over the Washington Commanders on Monday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In a case of unfortunate timing, Commanders cornerback Troy Amos tackled Pacheco and hit him in his right knee as the running back planted his leg, which bent inward. Pacheco immediately left the game.
The 26-year-old Pacheco, a seventh-round draft pick in 2022, is in his fourth NFL season (all with the Chiefs). He led the Chiefs in rushing in 2022 (830 yards) and rushing (935 yards) and yards from scrimmage (1,179) in 2023. Both years ended with Kansas City winning the Super Bowl.
Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula in 2024 and missed 10 games. He returned in November and played seven regular season games, as well as all three games of the Chiefs' postseason run, which ended with a 40-22 loss in the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles.
This season, Pacheco leads the Chiefs in rushing again, amassing 329 yards and a touchdown on 78 carries (4.2 YPC). He's also caught 11 passes for 43 yards and another score.
Pacheco had his best rushing performance of the season Monday (58 yards on 12 carries).
There is some good news, though, as the Chiefs have a bye looming in Week 10, giving Pacheco time to rest without missing a game.
Pacheco appears as if he'll miss Sunday's road game at the Buffalo Bills, but he could be back soon after that. The Chiefs' first post-bye game is at the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 16.
In the meantime, Kareem Hunt, who scored two touchdowns on Monday, figures to be the lead back now with Brashard Smith as the backup.
