LaVar Ball Dedicates Big Baller Brand Shoe to Lonzo in Honor of Cavs PG's Birthday

Big Baller Brand is apparently still making sneakers, and on Sunday, LaVar Ball presented his son, Lonzo Ball, with a new pair as his birthday present.

"To commemorate your special day, I wanted to dedicate in your name this new sneaker we've been meticulously perfecting for the past three years—one that celebrates your legacy and impact on all of us," Ball said in a statement on the Big Baller Brand Instagram account. "Through this sneaker, fans will have the opportunity to share in your legacy and experience a piece of your story. A story that's far from over."

The elder Ball saw the opportunity to use the gift to help promote Big Baller Brand, hyping up the new shoe on multiple social media accounts:

As for whether Lonzo Ball will ever wear the sneakers on the court, he once said that he thought it was possible that wearing Big Baller Brand kicks contributed to his meniscus injury in Jan. 2018 and wasn't happy wearing the shoes as a rookie. This is a different iteration of the Big Baller Brand shoes, however.
