
Aaron Rodgers Needed 'Silent Count' Because Packers Fans So Loud at Steelers Stadium
The Pittsburgh Steelers didn't have much of a home-field advantage in Sunday's 35-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Acrisure Stadium.
"Packers fans travel really well," Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers told reporters after the game. "First time in a while I used silent count for a home game. That's a credit to those Packer fans."

The Steelers are sitting in first place in the AFC North, and they have some of the NFL's most passionate fans. A prime-time showcase was seemingly tailor-made to create a hostile atmosphere inside the stadium.
Instead, a sizable Packers contingent was audible throughout the game. Viewers who tuned in would've been forgiven in assuming Lambeau Field was hosting the occasion.
Having to utilize silent counts for a home game is obviously a minor headache for a quarterback. Especially for somebody as experienced as Rodgers, it probably didn't have a meaningful impact, though.
The four-time MVP finished 24-of-36 for 219 yards and two touchdowns. It was his fourth straight game with a passer rating over 100.
The Steelers didn't see their lead on the Cincinnati Bengals shrink despite their Week 8 defeat. Cincinnati slipped to 3-5 after falling 39-38 to the previously winless New York Jets.
Pittsburgh has another big home game ahead as the AFC-leading Indianapolis Colts head to the Steel City. Rodgers and his teammates will hope Acrisure Stadium is a little less hospitable to the road team this time around.
