Austin Reaves Trolls Luka Doncic in IG Photo Comments After Lakers Beat T-Wolves
Luka Dončić had a chance to reach 50 points before he was removed during Friday's 128-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, as head coach JJ Redick left him in the game late in the fourth quarter on 48 points.
All Dončić had to do was hit a pair of free throws with 3:29 remaining in the fourth quarter to reach the mark, but he only made one of two and Redick pulled him.
Austin Reaves wasn't about to let him live it down:

Redick roasted him as well.
"I'm trying to get the guy 50, and yeah, I'd already given him three chances," he told reporters. "I gave a fourth chance. He gets fouled, and then he blows that too."
It was a fantastic performance, as Dončić finished with 49 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Through two games, he's averaging a ridiculous 46 points per contest. But the 50-piece eluded him against the Wolves, and nobody on the Lakers could quite get over it.
"Just like the same way I see it when I'm on the other side—shocked," center Deandre Ayton said of the performance. "Like, 'Ohmigod, I can't believe he's doing this. When is he going to miss?' You know, things like that. I wanted him to get 50 tonight, though."
