NBA Summer League 2015: Scores and Highlights from Sunday's Las Vegas Results
The summer has to end at some point, and the same goes for the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, which inched ever closer toward its conclusion Sunday.
The semifinals saw the San Antonio Spurs clash with the Atlanta Hawks, with a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans to follow later in the day.
Although teams don't exactly hang banners in the rafters to honor a summer-league title, winning the tournament would be a nice feather in the cap for the conquering squad.

Sunday Recap
Spurs defeat Hawks, 75-68
The winning culture that permeates throughout the Spurs organization even rubbed off on their summer-league team. San Antonio edged out the Hawks, 75-68, to earn a place in the Vegas league final, which is scheduled for Monday.
Once again, Kyle Anderson was the straw that stirred the drink after scoring 22 points and grabbing eight rebounds:
The 2014 first-round draft pick has been the best Spurs' best player in Vegas, and his play was richly rewarded with the summer-league MVP award:
When San Antonio selected Anderson last year, it looked like a very shrewd move. The Spurs could afford to have him essentially redshirt his rookie season so as to set him up for a bigger role in Year 2. You don't want to put too much stock into summer league, but Anderson looks like he could be a key figure off the bench for the Spurs next year.
His summer-league teammate Jonathan Simmons also had a big game, going for 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting, eight rebounds and two assists. His dunk in the fourth quarter also brought the crowd inside the Thomas and Mack Center to its feet:
Simmons spoke about the win after the game:
Shifting to the Hawks, Terran Petteway had a disappointing showing. After combining for 33 points in his last two games, the 22-year-old shot 2-of-12 from the field for seven points. NBA.com's Lang Whitaker still walked away from summer league impressed by Petteway all things considered:
Lamar Patterson also had an up-and-down game. His 16 points and seven rebounds helped out, but he also turned the ball over five times. Patterson is another name to watch as Atlanta determines which wing player will fill out its bench in 2015-16.
Suns defeats Pelicans 93-87
Who would've guessed that T.J. Warren would go 1-of-5 from the field for two points and the Suns would still walk away with a 93-87 win over the Pelicans?
Few players in the summer league have performed better than Warren, and he has undoubtedly been a catalyst for Phoenix's run in the tournament. He simply didn't have it Sunday night, but his teammates made the save, Devin Booker in particular.
Booker wasn't shy with the ball in his hands. He attempted 17 field goals, making 10, and shooting 5-of-9 from deep. He finished with 31 points and nine rebounds to narrowly miss out on a double-double:
Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari is still keeping tabs on his former players and couldn't help but to shout out the 18-year-old 2-guard:
Booker was one of four Suns players who scored in double figures. Like Booker, Josh Harrellson was one rebound away from a double-double, posting 19 points and nine rebounds. Archie Goodwin and Mike James also combined for 25 points to help in the effort.
The defeat ended Seth Curry's otherwise strong summer league on a sour note. Curry did, however, keep his streak of 20-plus-point games alive after scoring 21.
Bryce Dejean-Jones also did everything he could to get New Orleans into the championship. He had the hot hand, shooting 8-of-12 for 25 points. Dejean-Jones' four threes accounted for half of the Pelicans' team output as well.
Instead, the Suns will move on to the final against the Spurs. The two teams will play Monday night at 9 p.m. ET.
