76ers' Adem Bona Pranked by Teammates in Video, Car Filled With Popcorn, Tire Removed

Philadelphia 76ers big man Adem Bona encountered some unusual car troubles at the team's facility.

A tire appeared outside Bona's locker in a TikTok video posted and shot by veteran center Andre Drummond. It turns out that tire belongs to Bona's car, which was filled with popcorn through the roof.

Drummond said that this is what happens when you don't get off the table, implying that the rookie may not have gotten off the training table for a vet. Bona then said that he didn't want to get off the table.

Apparently that decision came with a price, although if Bona likes popcorn, then it's his lucky day as he seemingly has enough of it now to last a lifetime.

Numerous 76ers made cameos, including 2022-23 NBA MVP Joel Embiid, who found the situation quite humorous. VJ Edgecombe, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft, went out to the parking lot to see Bona's popcorn-filled car for himself.

Drummond said this is what happens when you don't follow instructions, joked to Edgecombe that he was "next," to which the ex-Baylor star smiled, wagged his finger, repeatedly said no and smartly moved away quickly.

Drummond and wing Kelly Oubre Jr. were then seen smiling and eating the popcorn before the video stopped.

For the record, it wasn't made entirely clear who was behind the acts, although one can safely surmise Drummond may have had a part.

Philadelphia added the UCLA big man with a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA draft. He played 58 games last year, starting 11 and averaging 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 15.6 minutes.

So he's not a rookie, but per Drummond in the caption, "Adem Bona forgot he's a rookie till the first regular season game."

That will be on Oct. 22, when Philadelphia visits the Boston Celtics to start the year.
