Two years ago, Dodgers star Mookie Betts told reporters that he wasn't staying there due to reports it being haunted.
"It was a good excuse (not to stay there)," Betts said, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.
Betts told reporters he doesn't necessarily believe in ghosts. However, he didn't want to find out firsthand whether the hotel was haunted.
"You can tell me what happened after," he said. "I just don't want to find out myself."
Betts didn't stay at the Pfister Hotel last year either.
The Dodgers opened the NLCS with a 2-1 win in Game 1 after Blake Snell shut the Brewers out for eight innings, striking out 10 and allowing just one hit. Freddie Freeman hit a solo home run and Betts drew a bases-loaded walk for the L.A. runs.
