Alvin Kamara Trade Reportedly Not Eyed by Saints at Deadline amid NFL Rumors
The New Orleans Saints "aren't expected" to trade running back Alvin Kamara despite interest from other teams, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.
According to Rapoport, Saints general manager Mickey Loomis has approached Kamara to tell him other teams had inquired about his trade availability.
Kamara then told Loomis he wanted to finish out his career with the Saints, Rapoport reported.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The running back is under contract through the 2026 season after signing a two-year, $24.5 million extension last October.
He is expected to play in Sunday's Week 6 game against the New England Patriots despite being limited in practice this week with an ankle injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Saturday.
Kamara told reporters before signing his current contract in 2024 that he wanted to retire in New Orleans.
"If I gotta play football somewhere else, I'll probably be somewhere with my feet kicked up in Africa somewhere, or something like that," Kamara said last July.
Since Kamara signed his contract, the Saints have gone 6-16 and become a potential deadline seller in back-to-back seasons.
New Orleans lost seven consecutive games heading into the 2024 trade deadline, prompting Loomis to trade cornerback Marshon Lattimore to the Washington Commanders in exchange for draft capital.
The Saints have since started out the 2025 season with 1-4 record, recording four straight losses prior to last Sunday's victory over the New York Giants.
Including this weekend's matchup with the Patriots, the Saints have four games remaining before the next trade deadline.
Rapoport wrote Saturday that the Saints "are not expected to conduct a fire sale but that "there could be a similar situation" to the Lattimore trade depending on how New Orleans performs over the next ofur games.
According to Rapoport, the Saints are expected to receive calls about wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, pass rusher Carl Granderson, offensive lineman Dillon Radunz and linebacker Pete Werner in addition to Kamara.
Loomis and the Saints could potentially consider moving on from one of those players while keeping Kamara, who currently leads the Saints with 283 rushing yards on 73 carries through five games, in the backfield past the Nov. 4 deadline.
