Colts Staffer Wears Oregon Duck Costume in Video After Losing Bet to DeForest Buckner
After losing a bet to defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, Indianapolis Colts Vice President of Football Communications Matt Conti wore an Oregon Ducks mascot costume in front of the media Thursday.
While Buckner answered questions at the podium, Conti stood next to him in the duck costume, eliciting laughter from the reporters who were on hand:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Buckner starred at University of Oregon from 2012 to 2015, while Conti attended Penn State University. Last weekend, the Ducks scored a dramatic, 30-24 overtime victory over the Nittany Lions on the road.
Entering the clash of Big Ten powers last Saturday, both Oregon and Penn State were undefeated, but the Nittany Lions were ranked No. 3 in the country, and the Ducks were No. 6.
After entering halftime tied at 3-3, Oregon took control in the second half, as quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Dante Moore threw a touchdown pass to Dierre Hill Jr. in the third quarter, while Jordan Davidson rushed for an eight-yard score early in the fourth to extend the Ducks' lead to 17-3.
Penn State quarterback Drew Allar orchestrated a big-time comeback, though, throwing a pair of fourth-quarter touchdown passes to Devonte Ross, including the game-tying score with 30 seconds left.
In overtime, PSU struck first with a four-yard touchdown run by Kaytron Allen, but Oregon answered with a two-yard touchdown pass from Moore to Jamari Johnson.
Then, Oregon opened the second overtime with a touchdown, but it missed the required two-point conversion, which left the door open for Penn State.
However, on the Nittany Lions' first offensive play of the second overtime, Allar was intercepted by Dillon Thieneman, giving Oregon the victory in dramatic fashion.
The win moved Buckner's Ducks all the way up No. 2 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, while Conti's Nittany Lions dropped to No. 7.
Given how both teams played last week, it won't be at all surprising if they meet again in the College Football Playoff, which could potentially lead to yet another wager.
Of course, the Colts could afford some lightheartedness this week even after a loss since they are off to a 3-1 start and perhaps trending toward their first playoff appearance since 2020.
The upcoming schedule for Buckner and Co. looks favorable as well, including Sunday's home clash with the 1-3 Las Vegas Raiders.
