Bradley Beal Says Joining Clippers Wasn't 'Easy Decision' After Suns Contract Buyout
New Los Angeles Clippers guard Bradley Beal spoke to reporters on Monday about his decision to sign with the team this offseason after he was bought out by the Phoenix Suns.
"It wasn't an easy decision..." he said. "This, in particular, stuck out a lot. One, who Steve Ballmer is, how he operates, and what he stands for... Their pitch was honestly just better."

Every NBA Team's Toughest Free-Agency Decision 😬
On the court, the Clippers have an exciting core group of Leonard, Beal, James Harden, John Collins and Ivica Zubac. Granted, the Suns had the trio of Beal, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, only to eventually trade Durant and buy out Beal's contract after the team continuously underachieved.
The veteran guard also reflected on that decision Monday.
"It's a business, it's no different than any other year," he told reporters. "I'm in trade talks every year... It's very opinionated; that's the landscape of the business. Phoenix made a decision...I can't do nothing but respect it."
