Cam Robinson Reportedly Traded to Browns, Texans Agree to Swap 2027 NFL Draft Picks
The Cleveland Browns are reportedly acquiring Houston Texans offensive tackle Cam Robinson for a 2027 late-round draft pick swap, per Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network on Monday.
Robinson, who turns 30 years old on Oct. 9, is in his ninth NFL season. He began his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars after they selected the ex-Alabama star with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

Robinson started his first seven-plus NFL seasons in Jacksonville before the Jaguars traded him and a 2026 conditional seventh-round draft pick to the Minnesota Vikings last October for a 2026 conditional fifth-round draft choice.
Pelissero offered more insight on that 2024 move and the one that occurred Monday.
Last season, Vikings offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee on Oct. 24, 2024 during a 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Vikings traded for Robinson six days later.
This year, the Browns lost offensive tackle Dawand Jones to a season-ending knee injury on Sept. 22, when Cleveland beat the Green Bay Packers 13-10.
Now Cleveland has added Robinson, who signed a one-year, $12 million contract ($10.75 million guaranteed) with Houston last offseason.
Robinson started the season opener, a 14-9 loss at the Los Angeles Rams, and played nearly the entire game. However, he didn't play any offensive snaps in the next two weeks before being declared inactive on Sunday, when the Texans beat the Tennessee Titans 26-0. In essence, Houston benched him for rookie left tackle Aireontae Ersery.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz and ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reported more on the move.
Robinson will get his first chance to play for the Browns on Sunday, when Cleveland faces his old team, the Minnesota Vikings, in London at 9:30 a.m. ET.
