Jayson Tatum is continuing to make progress in his recovery.

The Boston Celtics star was jogging up and down the court while getting a few shots up during a video posted to his YouTube channel on Saturday night.

"I'm rusty as a motherf--ker," Tatum said (5:26 mark).

He's currently working his way back from a torn Achilles that he suffered in Game 4 of Boston's second-round playoff series defeat against the New York Knicks during the 2024-25 season.

Tatum has steadily navigated through rehab, which included his first on-court workout since the injury that lasted roughly 20 minutes on Monday.

"It was the best feeling in the world," Tatum told Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix. "It reminded me that I'm still a basketball player."

The six-time All-Star's exact recovery timeline remains uncertain, although he didn't rule out a potential appearance in the 2025-26 season during a Tuesday appearance on First Take.

Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens was also positive surrounding Tatum's recovery, but stressed the importance of not rushing him back onto the floor.

"I've said this from Day 1, and I'll continue to say it: no timelines on Jayson from my perspective," Stevens said, per Brian Robb of MassLive.com. "My No. 1 goal, my No. 2 goal, three goal, four goal is Jayson Tatum fully healthy, full recovery. And he's well on his way. He has been incredibly diligent."

The Achilles tear was a tough end to a stellar 2024-25 season from Tatum, who averaged 26.8 points and 8.7 rebounds to go along with a career-high 6.0 assists per game.

He shot 45.2 percent from the field and 34.3 percent from behind the arc while finishing No. 4 in MVP voting.

While Tatum's exact return date is still up in the air, he provided another encouraging update on Saturday.
