Lakers training camp begins Monday and will lead up to Friday's preseason opener against the Phoenix Suns.

Both Watson and Williams are expected to participate in camp, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Watson was originally selected by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft out of Gonzaga.

He spent most of last season in the G League, where he averaged 12.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists through 21 games and 18 starts for the Maine Celtics.

The Celtics cut Watson in March, allowing the New York Knicks to pick him up off waivers.

Watson went on to play nine regular-season games for the Knicks, posting a combined eight points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two turnovers in 22 total minutes on the court.

Williams, an undrafted free agent out of Buffalo who played five games for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2022-23, spent the last two seasons with the Houston Rockets.

He appeared in 42 regular-season NBA games and three playoff games over that span, averaging three points in 6.6 minutes per night before he was waived by the Rockets in July.

Both Watson and Williams were signed to Exhibit 10 contracts, the same type of deal Jones signed Friday. Dixon signed his own Exhibit 10 deal in July.

Those contracts mean all four players could be eligible for bonuses if they ultimately spend at least 60 days with the G League's South Bay Lakers this season.
