The Philadelphia 76ers are bringing a treat to longtime fans during the 2025-26 season.

On Thursday, the Sixers provided a first look at their Allen Iverson-Era court design for the upcoming campaign with a series of photos on social media:

The 2025-26 season will mark the 25th anniversary of the Sixers' most recent Eastern Conference Championship. Philadelphia finished first in the East with a 56-26 record and made a run to the 2001 NBA Finals, where the team lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. Despite losing the series, Iverson created one of the most iconic moments in NBA history when he stepped over Tyronn Lue after connecting on a jumper as part of a 48-point performance in a Game 1 upset win.

In addition to winning the Eastern Conference title in 2001, Iverson was named NBA MVP that season, while the late Dikembe Mutombo won Defensive Player of the Year, Aaron McKie won Sixth Man of the Year and Larry Brown earned Coach of the Year.

The Sixers have not made it back to the Eastern Conference Finals since that fateful season. Despite having a talented roster, Philadelphia sputtered during the 2024-25 season and disappointingly finished with a 24-58 record. Stars Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George all missed significant time throughout the year due to injuries.

A healthy Sixers team should be one of the top contenders in the East in 2025-26, and their celebration of their 2001 team should serve as motivation for the current players to achieve similar success this year.
