Grant Delpit Says It's 'Not Hard' to Tackle Derrick Henry Ahead of Browns vs. Ravens
Cleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit isn't afraid to play with fire based on his comments about tackling Derrick Henry ahead of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Delpit declared it's "not hard" to bring Henry down when asked about tackling the bruising running back.
That quote didn't go unnoticed by Henry:

Delpit does know from which he speaks, based on the hit he had on Henry in their Week 8 matchup last season in Cleveland. The Browns went on to win that game, 29-24.
Granted, that highlight doesn't totally help Delpit's argument because Henry make it through the entire defensive line and had no problem shaking off an attempted arm tackle by Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah before he got hit.
Henry was also changing directions to avoid Denzel Ward when Delpit drilled him, but there aren't many clips of the five-time Pro Bowl running back taking a hit that hard.
It's normally Henry who is the one planting defenders into the ground. His most famous highlight is stiff-arming Josh Norman like he was a feather that happened to float into his vicinity.
Henry had a similar moment in Week 1 when Bills safety Cole Bishop got brushed aside when he attempted an arm tackle on a 30-yard touchdown run. He finished that game with 169 yards and two touchdowns on just 18 rushing attempts.
Even though the Ravens have been superior to the Browns overall for several years, their head-to-head matchups have played out much closer than you would expect.
Since the start of the 2021 season, the AFC North rivals have split their eight games. The Ravens are 3-1 at home in those matchups. Sunday's game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium.
Last year's game in Baltimore, which the Ravens won 35-10, saw Henry run for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.
