Brazil Beats USA Behind 4Q Comeback, Advances to FIBA AmeriCup Bracket Final
The United States won't be playing for a championship at the AmeriCup.
The Americans were bested by Brazil in the semifinals, 92-77, after the South American country rattled off a 34-9 run in the fourth quarter.
Just in case you glossed over that: Brazil outscored the United States by a 34-9 margin in the final frame.

Yago Santos paced the Brazilians with 25 points and 12 assists, while Bruno Caboclo—the apple of Fran Fraschilla's eye—added 18 points and nine rebounds.
Langston Galloway led the United States with 22 points.
This obviously isn't anything close to the United States' A-team—it's probably somewhere closer to the middle of the alphabet—but it was still a very disappointing showing from the Americans.
The U.S. topped Group A with a trio of wins, though it needed overtime to beat the Bahamas and lost to Uruguay.
The United States then won the rematch against Uruguay in the quarterfinals of the knockout stage, 83-70, only to lose against the same Brazil team it beat in the Group State.
All in all, a forgettable showing from the Stars and Stripes.
Brazil, meanwhile, will face the winner of Argentina vs. Canada in the final. The United States will play the loser in the third-place game.
