"I've had to keep my excitement about this collab under wraps for nearly a year. It was an awesome opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on every decision in the design and creative process that brought the 'AE x TK' collection to life," Kelce said in a statement.
The partnership also includes an ad campaign featuring Kelce, along with other athletes including Syracuse freshman phenom Kiyan Anthony, Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee, Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Connecticut star Azzi Fudd.
Settembre noted the AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce is launching with two different drops. The first wave releases on Wednesday, followed by the second one on Sept. 24.
Kelce originally launched the Tru Kolors brand in 2019 with a mission statement to give people the "joy of dressing for the moment; from golden hours, to game days and to courtside nights."
Apparel in the release includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, trousers, topcoats, hats, hoodies, totebags, sweatpants, socks and scarves.
Kelce is also preparing for his 13th season in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs. They will kickoff the 2025 campaign on Sept. 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil.
