Lakers' Luka Doncic Featured in Overwatch 2's Stadium Mode for Season 18

It's highhhhhhh noon.

It's no secret that Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Dončić is an avid Overwatch 2 fan off the court, and he's pretty darn good at the game, ascending to the Grandmaster rank and even reaching top-500 status in the Stadium Mode in North America.

So Blizzard Entertainment and Overwatch 2 are honoring their most famous fan by bringing Dončić's "Sharpshooter 77" to the game's universe.

Per a press release, "'Sharpshooter 77' will also make his mark in-game with a player title of the same name, a 77 loot box giveaway, a golden basketball weapon charm emblazoned with Luka's iconic jersey number, and a spray. Players will be able to play through special Stadium hero builds inspired by Luka's on-court persona, including: "Luka Magic" Cassidy, "Lucio Dunk" and "Hooper Zarya."

"Many have seen how competitive I am on the basketball court, but you may not know that I'm just as competitive when I'm playing Overwatch," Dončić said. "I love this game, and am excited about this partnership. It's special to be in the game in a way that other players can be part of."
