Andrew PetersAug 18, 2025

A handful of kids in the Houston area will be going back to school rocking Anthony Edwards' signature shoes.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star sponsored Bleau Print Hospitality's "Walking In The Right Path Shoe Giveaway" event in Houston this week, donating 150 pairs of his Adidas AE 1 shoes to the charity, per TMZ.

Edwards has been with adidas since the start of his NBA career, and he landed his first signature shoe in 2023. Now, he's using his platform as an Adidas athlete to give back to the community and make sure kids have new shoes to begin the school year.

Edwards is coming off the best season of his career, putting up 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. Behind another outstanding campaign, he helped lead the Timberwolves to a second consecutive Western Conference Finals, where they came up short against the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder.

He'll look to follow up the best season of his career with an MVP-caliber year in 2025.
