Tyrese Haliburton Posts Photo Out of Walking Boot amid Pacers Star's Injury Rehab
Tyrese Haliburton is making progress in his recovery from a torn Achilles.
The Indiana Pacers star posted a photo of his right foot no longer requiring a walking boot on X.
Haliburton suffered the injury in the first quarter of Indiana's 103-91 defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. He scored nine points on 3-of-5 shooting in his first seven minutes on the floor before exiting the contest.
The two-time All-Star underwent surgery on June 23.
Haliburton made an appearance as the Indiana Fever faced off against the Los Angeles Sparks on July 5 and was seen wearing a boot on his right foot.
He served as the engine of Indiana's high-powered offense last season, averaging 18.6 points, 9.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 47.3 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from behind the arc.
The Pacers plan to be patient with Haliburton's rehab, as team president Kevin Pritchard already confirmed that the 25-year-old will miss the entire 2025-26 season.
It's an encouraging sign that his condition is already improving, though.
