Jacob Misiorowski Pulls Holographic Charizard While Opening Pokemon Cards on Video
It's hard to imagine 2025 going any better for Milwaukee Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski, who recently landed one of the most valuable Pokémon cards in a pack.
In a video posted by fellow Brewers pitcher Trevor Megill, Misiorowski pulled a Charizard hologram from a Pokémon base set pack.

1 Fun Fact About Every MLB Team Thus Far 😀
The reaction from everyone in the video perfectly encapsulates how things have been going for Misiorowski and the Brewers this season.
Per Price Charting, the cost for an ungraded Charizard hologram card is around $249. The card could be valued as high as $10,400 if it receives a PSA-10 Mint grade.
Misiorowski is an avid card collector and Pokémon fan. The rookie phenom recently told Rowan Kavner of FoxSports.com he's been into Pokémon for most of his life.
"Oh, I was young. I remember, I played like Pokémon Red and Green, that young, like on the Game Boy. But I’ve always loved it," he said.
During the All-Star Game red carpet event, Misirowski pulled up wearing a jacket with Pokémon Lugia sewn into the lining.
A second-round pick in the 2022 MLB draft, Misirowski steadily ascended to become a top pitching prospect in the minors. He made his big-league debut on June 12, making such a strong impact out of the gate that he was added to the NL All-Star team despite having just 25.2 innings under his belt prior to the break.
Misirowski's season was recently interrupted by a shin contusion that landed him on the injured list, though the expectation is he will return as soon as he is eligible on Aug. 18.
The right-hander has a 2.70 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 33.1 innings. Milwaukee is in the midst of a six-game winning streak and owns the best record in MLB (70-44) entering play on Saturday.
