Lakers' LeBron James Reacts to 2007 Photo of Bronny, 'He Don't Play About His Pops'
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James reacted to a childhood a photo of his son, Lakers guard Bronny James, taken during the 2006-07 season.
LeBron wrote "He don't play about his pops" on his Instagram story in response to a photo of Bronny conversing on the floor during his father's 2007 playoff run with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The pair made history last season, becoming the first father-son duo to ever share the court in an NBA game after the Lakers selected Bronny with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 draft.
Before they became teammates, Bronny could be seen supporting LeBron from the sidelines throughout the start of his legendary career.
During the 2006-07 season, LeBron helped the Cavaliers finish with a 50-32 record and advance to the NBA Finals before they were ultimately swept by the San Antonio Spurs.
It was still an impressive accomplishment for the star forward, as he was only 22 years old at the beginning of the year.
While LeBron and Bronny prepare to enter their second season as teammates, the NBA's all-time leading scorer reflected on his son's support as a child.
