Kenny Pickett Reportedly Has Hamstring Injury Amid Browns QB Battle With Shedeur, More
Cleveland Browns quarterback Kenny Pickett suffered a hamstring injury near the end of practice on Saturday and will be reevaluated "later this week," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Per Schefter, Pickett was "coming off a strong couple of practices" before the injury.
The signal-caller is currently in the midst of a battle for the top spot on the Browns' depth chart with veteran Joe Flacco as well as 2025 draft picks Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.

Pickett is set to enter his first season in Cleveland after he was acquired by the team as part of a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in March.
The former first-round pick opened his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, spending two years with the team. He struggled to live up to expectations in Pittsburgh, averaging just 179.0 pass yards per game and tossing 13 touchdowns compared to 13 interceptions as a member of the Steelers.
Pickett was then dealt to the Eagles ahead of the 2024 season, serving as Jalen Hurts' backup during the team's Super Bowl run.
He appeared to be standing out in training camp with Cleveland prior to the injury, as ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reported that he received "a large share of reps with the first-team offense" during Friday's practice.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski also praised Pickett in May.
"There is a lot to like about Kenny, and he is young in his career," Stefanski said during a radio appearance on 92.3 The Fan (h/t Cory Kinnan of Browns Wire). "We feel like, whether we are talking about the rookies or with Kenny, he has room to grow. He works his tail off, and he has the right attitude."
Flacco, Gabriel and Sanders will now have more opportunities to separate themselves from the pack as Cleveland continues its quarterback competition with Pickett sidelined.
