Not only did Kurtz make history as a rookie, but he did something no other player has done since RBI became an official statistic in 1920, per OptaSTATS.
Kurtz also finished with 19 total bases, which tied ex-Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Shawn Green for the most in a single game. Green accomplished his feat while hitting four homers against the Milwaukee Brewers in May 23, 2002.
Kurtz's game was another amazing accomplishment amid a great season. He's amassed 23 home runs and 59 RBI in just 66 games while hitting .305 (1.060 OPS).
