Bronny James used an impressive second half to finish as the Los Angeles Lakers' leading scorer versus the Boston Celtics in the NBA Summer League.

James posted 18 points, five assists and a trio of rebounds. He came alive in the second half with a big third quarter.

James stood out compared to the rest of the Lakers squad in an 87-78 defeat.

Dalton Knecht had an off night with eight points and a 3-for-11 mark from the field in 28 minutes.

The other three Lakers starters, Christian Koloko, Cole Swider and DJ Steward all scored in double figures in the defeat.

The Lakers have one game left in Las Vegas on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets in a consolation contest.
