Megan Thee Stallion Says When She Met Klay Thompson 'It Was Like a F--king Movie'
Dallas Mavericks star shooting guard Klay Thompson and his new partner, Megan Thee Stallion, made their red carpet debut together on Wednesday night, and the rapper offered a few details about how the two of them got together.
"Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f--king movie," Megan said at her inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City, per Madison E. Goldberg and Jack Irvin of People. "I won't tell you how and I won't tell you when, but it was a movie that he's the nicest person I've ever met in my life."
Thompson shared photos of himself and Megan together on Instagram over the weekend, confirming that the two of them are an item.
Megan's gala on Wednesday was held to "provide resources to effect meaningful and positive change in the lives of women and children, senior citizens, and underserved communities" in Houston and around the world, according to its website. The foundation is named after Megan's late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas.
"I feel like they can see what I'm doing right now," Megan told People. "I feel like they're looking down on me from heaven, and I feel like they're like, 'Yes, daughter!' I feel like my momma's so happy."
