VJ Edgecombe scored 15 points in his NBA Las Vegas Summer League debut for the Philadelphia 76ers.
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft looked more in sync on the offensive end as the game went on.
Edgecombe scored all of his 15 points in the second half. He shot 0-for-7 from the floor in the first 20 minutes.
The Sixers' other draft pick, Johni Broome, contributed a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double in the victory.
Washington only scored 58 points without Tre Johnson and Alex Sarr. Kyshawn George and Bub Carrington were also held out of the contest.
AJ Johnson impressed from the Wizards lineup, though, with a game high 20 points.
Both teams finish up pool play in Las Vegas on Wednesday. The Sixers face the Dallas Mavericks, while the Wizards take on the Utah Jazz.
