Paul George, 76ers Reportedly Plan 'Cautious' Rehab Approach amid Knee Injury
Paul George underwent arthroscopic surgery on Monday after injuring his left knee during an offseason workout, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, who noted that George would be reevaluated ahead of training camp.
On Tuesday, Shams offered another update on the situation, noting that "both sides will be cautious with him" as he rehabilitates his injury.
"They want to see George return to that full form they just have not seen in Philadelphia," Charania added. "I do expect both sides to be cautious with this injury."
George, 35, appeared in just 41 games for the Sixers last season after signing a four-year, $212 million contract, averaging just 16.2 points per game. It was a rough debut for the star wing, and preparations for his second season in Philadelphia are already off to a troubling start.
